Ruby Rose outfit inspired by! day 20 #30daywriter

When season 3 of 'Orange is the New Black' came out on Netflix, everyone very quickly made Ruby Rose the apple of their eyes. 

Since learning about Ruby Rose, I have become very intrigued in her sense of fashion! Which prompted this outfit inspired by!

One thing I have noticed is Ruby wears basketball shorts A LOT! I found these from River Island that reminded me of Ruby so much! There were a few more that I saw on the River Island website but I also found these dungaree shorts from the New Look website which I also thought were very Ruby.

In terms of shirts/vests I found this, this, and this from River Island all of which would look good with the shorts or dungarees! 

If you're feeling the outfit isn't enough then you could piece it together with a leather vest or jacket!

If you don't know who Troye is then carry on reading and I'll explain! 

Troye is a YouTuber who wrote a song which was inspired by John Green's book, 'the fault in our stars'. It is also called 'the fault I'm our stars' and was one of the inspirations for this outfit. 

I decided on choosing items that were pale blue (like the skirt) because that was the colour of the title page of the fault in our stars. 

My absolute favourite parts to this outfit is the grey jumper and the vans. They are both so so cute and I really love the contrast between the blue and purple on the shoes, I feel it gives a knock-off galaxy effect.

So here it is!!!

You probably already guessed what I was 

planning but I'll explain anyway...

For the next few weeks I shall post a different 

outfit for ALL the different characters in the

Best Song Ever music video as well as the boys'

outfits. 

The first one I chose to do is Marcel the marketing 

guy played by Harry Styles.

This outfit involves a lot of browns and beiges which 

is possibly one of my favourite parts of this 

outfit. 

My most favourite part though is the cardigan. As 

of lately, Aztec style patterns have been what I live

for (not literally lol). 

Anyway... I hope you are just as excited as I am

for this series because I've been working super 

hard on trying to complete it.

1st March marks the first day of Brain Tumour Awareness month. In honour of this, I shall create outfits based around this particular theme as well as celebrity inspired by outfits. 

The awareness colour of brain tumours in grey, therefore in this first outfit I have tried to stick around this colour. 

Brain tumour awareness is very important to me as one of first friends had died from a brain tumour tie years ago after a three month battle. 

Since then we've discovered that brain tumours are the most common form of cancer within children and adults under the age of 40. 

Brain tumours are also very very poorly funded in terms of research for a cure and treatment. Therefore, resulting in me, and many others, raising money for paediatric brain tumours.

Jesy Nelson is a singer and is currently in the band, Little Mix. 

Jesy usually describes her style as rocky and this is definitely the look she went for here. 

I tried to choose affordable items however the shorts are expensive. Although, this is just an inspired by look therefore you could easily switch it up with a skater skirt or skinny jeans.
