Ruby Rose outfit inspired by! day 20 #30daywriter

When season 3 of 'Orange is the New Black' came out on Netflix, everyone very quickly made Ruby Rose the apple of their eyes. 

Since learning about Ruby Rose, I have become very intrigued in her sense of fashion! Which prompted this outfit inspired by!

One thing I have noticed is Ruby wears basketball shorts A LOT! I found these from River Island that reminded me of Ruby so much! There were a few more that I saw on the River Island website but I also found these dungaree shorts from the New Look website which I also thought were very Ruby.

In terms of shirts/vests I found this, this, and this from River Island all of which would look good with the shorts or dungarees! 

If you're feeling the outfit isn't enough then you could piece it together with a leather vest or jacket!

This dress is from New Look. It is so simple yet elegant! You could wear this dress literally anywhere. My favourite part of it is definitely the shoulder, it looks so pretty and I think (and hope) that it would look quite pretty on me. Spring and summer is the only times of year that I shall even dare to wear dresses because the weather tends to stay above 10 degrees Celsius after March.

All the lipsticks that I own are relatively dark and quite autumn-y so I felt like I needed to get a more neutral colour to match the Spring theme. I never usually wear pinks/natural shades but when I saw this shade I was instantly hooked! I love it so much and cannot wait to try it out.

This lipstick is quite similar to the one above but this seems to have more pink in it. I chose this lipstick for the same reasons as to why I chose 'Secretary', it definitely matches the Spring theme. I also love the Topshop packaging; it's so incredibly pretty and cute. I know that has nothing to do with the product itself but it's too adorable for me not to say anything!

I took a different approach to this by, instead of using the app, polyvore to create an outfit, o thought it would a great idea to take popular websites and see what they're selling at this moment so if you are looking to buy any of the items it shall be a lot easier for you. 

This took longer than using the app but it's much more fun! 

All you need to do to complete this look is add accessories! I'm such a big accessoriser, I wouldn't ever think about leaving the house without something to pull an outfit together. 

However! That's the next topic! ;)
