March Favourites and a few updates!

at March 29, 2015 0 comments
The third month of 2015 is quickly coming to an end and I'm wondering where the time is going. I used to try and blog at least once a week and now it's barely once a month. I don't know why but with college and everything else going on, I simply cannot find the time! Although I will try and change that starting TODAY!

OK! So! First of all, college has been super busy. I don't think I've ever spoke about this but, last year I started my AS Levels (first year of college) and HATED it so this I decided to do a BTEC in Creative Media for film and TV. I love it so much more and I'm really happy I made this decision.

However, this year involves a lot of extra work to better myself in learning about the industry. Right now I'm doing advertising and let me tell you... analysing adverts effectively is a lot harder than it may seem.

Besides college, I have also been trying to see my friends from high school a lot more. So the time spent when I'm usually writing, I've been with them.

MARCH FAVOURITES!

The month of March has consisted of a lot of shopping. No. Really. I think I may have melted away the black strip on my debit card. This month's favourite's are all items that I have bought this month but haven't been able to put down because I love them so so so much.

Waterfall Front Parka Jacket
From Topshop
This jacket costs £60.00. Usually I would never spend that much on a coat, especially when I would only be able to use it when it's relatively warm outside. From when I've bought it till now, we haven't had the greatest weather. It's been a little bit windy, a little bit sunny and a little bit cold. It would be perfect for the summer months and I cannot wait to pair with different outfits. I do love it, it's very soft and the sleeves are definitely my favourite part.

Zoella Beauty body lotion
From Superdrug
I've been wanting to get my hands on this for so long! Everything in the Zoella Beauty range is just lovely but the body lotion is my favourite product. I can honestly say that I have never found a body lotion that I love so much. It's really cheap and smells absolutely gorgeous.

If you've made it this far then a huge thank you to you all.
I love all lots and lots like jelly tots

Spring Wish List! (Beauty and fashion)

at March 13, 2015 0 comments

Black Open Shoulder Swing Dress
£14.99
This dress is from New Look. It is so simple yet elegant! You could wear this dress literally anywhere. My favourite part of it is definitely the shoulder, it looks so pretty and I think (and hope) that it would look quite pretty on me. Spring and summer is the only times of year that I shall even dare to wear dresses because the weather tends to stay above 10 degrees Celsius after March.

Lips in Secretary
£8.00
All the lipsticks that I own are relatively dark and quite autumn-y so I felt like I needed to get a more neutral colour to match the Spring theme. I never usually wear pinks/natural shades but when I saw this shade I was instantly hooked! I love it so much and cannot wait to try it out.

Lips in Saint
£8.00
This lipstick is quite similar to the one above but this seems to have more pink in it. I chose this lipstick for the same reasons as to why I chose 'Secretary', it definitely matches the Spring theme. I also love the Topshop packaging; it's so incredibly pretty and cute. I know that has nothing to do with the product itself but it's too adorable for me not to say anything!

Thank you for reading my Spring wishlist! It is very much appreciated. Let me know what is on your wishlist for this 2015 spring and summer months.

I need some inspiration for what I'm going to wear at Christmas so I decided it would be a nice idea to make a mood board of different looks so when I go shopping for my Christmas outfit, I'll be a little more decisive.

Outfit 1:

No, I am not some crazy cat lady but I do really like cats and so when I saw this dress,  I had a mini heart flutter. Animal themed clothing never usually interests me but there's something about this dress that has me converted. (I think it's the bow tie).

Outfit 2:

I love this dress! It looks so elegant with the pattern on the skirt yet seems so chic with the skater skirt style. I also find the colours to be very intriguing as they're quite dark and fit with the theme of winter.

Outfit 3:

I realise that this dress looks like a young child's school uniform but in my opinion... It looks great! There's not much to say about it other than the fact that I really like it and it's probably my favourite out of the four.

Outfit 4:

This is probably more of my sisters style because I'm not usually the type to wear stripes whereas she is, but the skater skirt pulled me in once again! I think this dress is my least favourite; if I was to buy it for Christmas it would probably be worn once and then not picked back up again afterwards so I think this one is a definite no.

I hope you're all enjoying blogmas so far! I'm sorry my posts are always up so late; I only click 'publish' when I'm connected to wifi, which is usually after 7pm.

I love you all, thank you for sticking with me, I really do appreciate it,

It's been SO LONG since I've done an

outfit inspired by! I decided that in honour

of Anna Saccone Joly's birthday, I would

do an outfit inspired by Anna!

Anna has been such an inspiration to me

for many years. She is part of the reason

as to why I kept blogging and why I keep

blogging.

She is such a beautiful lady who is exceptionally

good at writing and blogging. Fashion seems

to come to her naturally.

Many would just call her style as 'mummy-like'

but in my opinion, she rocks it and looks

absolutely fabulous.

So happy birthday Anna, I hope it has been a good

one! If you're reading this (I don't think she is), you're

very beautiful and I hope you keep doing what you're

doing regardless of what people say.

I love you all lots and lots,

Styleicona app review!!!

at September 09, 2014 0 comments
If you are looking for a hot new app which offers fashion inspiration from other fashionistas then  look no further because Styleicona is here! Whether it be advice on what shoes to wear or fashion inspiration, the Styleicona app can help you.

Recently a great new app called 'Styleicona' has been launched and everyone is jumping on board to see what all the hype is all about.
This new app allows you to post photos to your very own 'style book' and people shall discover and vote whether they love it or not.
You get to share your profile with family and friends and generally have a good time!

My experience using the app!
The Styleicona app is usually the kind of app that I avoid and after seeing the voting on peoples photos aspect, I wasn't feeling too optimistic about the whole thing. However after looking on twitter and reading such positive comments about the app, I decided to give it a try.
Downloading the all has been one of the best things I've ever decided to do since starting my blog. It has made me realise that I could inspire others like people in the fashion industry inspire me.
Through continued use if the Styleicona app, I started to overlook the voting aspect and starting to think of it as a way to help other users make a decision. For example if a user is unable to decide which shoes go best with their outfit, then the users of Styleicona are ready to help in a heart beat.
Many would say that I'm getting a little too deep at this point but it seems to be just another way to bring people together through a common interest of which is fashion.

You can download the app here: http://appstore.com/styleicona

So there we have it! A new app that I'm sure you guys will love just as much as me! I also reviewed it on the App Store reviews and gave it five stars. Today my advice to you is to download the app and give it a go!

Disclaimer: I am not getting paid to say these things, this is all my own opinions!

Love you all,
Bee

Full House Series part three: Danny Tanner

Full House Series part three: Danny Tanner

Urban Decay matte eyeshadow
$61 - johnlewis.com

I will fully admit that I definitely got carried away while doing this outfit. In all honesty... It doesn't seem very 'Danny' at all.

Throughout the seasons of full house his style didn't change very much. His clothing seemed quite sophisticated and to be frank, rather boring (unlike this outfit).

However, with that being said, there was an episode when Danny felt old (after accepting a date with a girl possibly half his age) and wanted to go back to his youth which left him drastically changing his dress code.

Anyway... I hope you like this outfit regardless of whether or not it reflects Danny.

I love you all,

There was a season in full house when aunt Becky would wear lovely long dresses. I decided to go with a more formal outfit for Aunt Becky because there wasn't many times when we saw her get 'dressed up'.

Regarding jewellery, I feel like Becky has quite an expensive taste (I'm not sure why, just a thought). With that in mind I looked for expensive-looking jewellery yet still at a reasonable price.

In one episode, Becky teaches DJ how to wear make-up and taught her that less is more! It's the exact reason why I put together some naked palettes because in my opinion they are one of the best brands for a natural look.

I hope you enjoy this outfit as much as I enjoyed making it :)

Love you all,

Bee
